CourtPulse Privacy Policy

CourtPulse ("we," "the app") monitors official court filing-fee schedules and alerts you
to changes. We collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data, and we do not use
third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Information we handle
- No account. CourtPulse does not require a name, email, or login to use.
- Subscription & purchase data. Subscriptions are processed by Apple.
We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status; it receives your purchase
receipt and an anonymous app-generated identifier. We never receive your credit-card
or Apple Account credentials.
- Push notifications. If you enable alerts, your device's push token is used to
deliver fee-change notifications. It identifies the device, not you personally.
- Address lookup. When you use "Find court," the address you type is sent to the
U.S. Census Bureau geocoder to determine the county/court with jurisdiction. We do not
store the addresses you search.
- Your followed courts ("My Courts"). Stored only on your device. We do not
receive your watchlist.
- Feedback you submit. If you report a venue as out of date, the note you write
(and which venue) is sent to us so we can re-verify the source.
What we do not collect
- No location tracking, contacts, photos, or device sensors.
- No advertising identifiers; no ad networks; no sale of data.
Service providers
We rely on Apple (billing), RevenueCat (subscription status), Expo (push delivery), and
the U.S. Census Bureau (address geocoding). Each handles data under its own terms.
Accuracy disclaimer
Fees are gathered from official court sources and shown for reference with effective dates
and citations. Courts change fees and we may not reflect a change immediately. Always confirm
the current fee with the court before filing. CourtPulse is not legal advice.
Data retention & your choices
Disable notifications anytime in iOS Settings. Manage or cancel your subscription in your
Apple Account settings. To request deletion of any feedback you submitted, contact us.
